A Wonderful Peditrcian
At 11am I had an appointment with a potential pediatrician for Tessa. This doctor could not have been any nicer and more importantly informative. He explained the reason why the eye specialist had ordered an MRI was to rule out any sort of tumor that might be causing Tessa’s eye to turn. As for the statement about her brain space the doctor said that Tessa has slightly more fluid around her brain than what was in the normal range. He was not concerned but offered to have a Chinese speaking radiologist read the MRI and conference with him. After conferring with a radiologist, he called me and said that he felt she was fine. However if after we were home there were any concerns he would immediately send Tessa for testing and repeat the MRI. In the interim the pediatrician will look into having a Chinese speaking neurologist give an opinion on Tessa’s MRI.
