Today Barbara and George our old landlords came to visit Tessa. She seemed to enjoy the company. Tessa still tends to favor mommy and daddy and will cry when someone other than us tries to hold her. Unfortunately while they were over Tessa decided to take her afternoon nap so they didn't get to spend too much time with her.
That evening while I was playing with Tessa she decided that she wanted to stand up. For the past week her legs have been not as rubbery whenever we practice standing with her. Tonight though for the first time she tried herself to get into a standing position. She needed help balancing but she really enjoyed having her feet firmly planted on the floor and seeing her room from that height.
