This morning I had to put Tesa’s eye patch on for the first time. Tessa was so upset and cried for several minutes once the patch was on. Throughout the day she tried to pull it off. At one point she was successful and I had to put a new one on. Putting the new patch on was even worse the second time because now Tessa knew what to expect. She was so happy when we took it off after 7 hours.
This afternoon the occupational therapist came and evaluated Tessa. After completing her testing she told us Tessa qualified to receive occupational therapy. Today was the final evaluation so hopefully within the new week or so we will be able to have the meeting where we go over the reports and agree to services.
