Pediatric Neurological

Friday, October 12, 2007

Today I took Tessa for an examination with a pediatric neurologist to look over the MRI that was done in China. The neurologist was not concerned about the extra 2mm space between Tessa’s brain and forehead. He felt this was probably a result of her being a “failure to thrive” baby and that it would correct itself as she grew. The neurologist saw no evidence of brain injury and felt that Tessa had typical developmental delays found in an internationally adopted child. He asked to see Tessa again in December to assess how she was progressing.
